MeaningfulMeasures
Tests measure what you remember. Not what you can do.
If learning looks different, assessment should too. When students learn through projects, performances, and real-world problem solving, they need ways to show what they know beyond a test score.
A test gives a limited picture of learning. It doesn’t show how students think, how they’re growing, or what they can do with a real problem. When tests alone define what’s measured, they shape what gets taught. Students miss out on useful feedback. Educators miss out on evidence of what matters most.
Assessment should look like learning. When it’s built in from the start, it gives students real feedback as they go and captures skills a grade alone can’t show.
